In the beginning in mid December 2015 there were many players who were selected but for an array of reason from Champs, no passport or US visas, examinations, performance to lack of finances, all reduced the selection options as the desire grew.

Weekly training sessions at the Harbour View football stadium limited to Kingston and St. Andrew residents, as time and logistics could not accommodate a wider reach in our first effort.

They will be accompanied by coach Altimont 'Freddie' Butler and manager Clyde Jureidini who have been invited by Rush Canada Soccer Academy to compete at the world renown Dr. Pepper, Dallas Cup Tournament from March 18‐27, 2016 in Dallas Texas, USA.

RUSH Canada Soccer Academy Under 14 with eleven (11) players, are the authorized registered team at the tournament invited the players who will be jointly representing from the new Rush Jamaica Academy organization.

The seven (7) players are:
- Ricardo Laing (GK) Cooreville FC
- Duncan McKenzie (left Attacker) - Real Mona FC
- Matthew Bell (midfielder) - Santos FC
- Shacqkeil Campbell (Forward) - Allman Woodford FC
- Rojaughn Joseph (Wingback,midfielder), Kellijah Morgan (forward), Jahvarie Fletcher (midfielder) - HVFC
